Teens - Driver's Education

It's an exciting time for you now that you are able to get your first driver license! The state of North Carolina provides Driver Education to High School students under 18. However, some families may feel that private lessons are a better fit for their teens. Our teen driving course is designed to help you accomplish that goal and at the same time, promote driver safety.

Learn 2 Drive Driving School offers classroom and behind-the-wheel instruction for any high school student, finding it difficult to complete Driver Education through the Public School System, maybe due to after school activities, homeschooling, or simply seeking more individual attention.

We are available and willing to provide students with further professional instruction if needed after Driver Education. When you are ready to apply for your license, we will be happy to assist you!

All Learn 2 Drive instructors are certified and provide a safe and professional environment for all our students.

WE OFFER:

Classroom Instruction

The state of North Carolina requires 30 hours of classroom instruction for high school students preparing for their permit. Our classroom instruction includes all class materials, guest speakers, an engaging class environment led by experienced instructors.

Behind-the-Wheel Instruction

The state of North Carolina requires 6 hours of behind the wheel instruction with a certified driving instructor for high school students preparing for their permit.

We have flexible hours during the week and on weekends, to meet busy schedules. Behind-the-Wheel instruction includes picking up the student up at a location of parent's choice, at times that best meet the student's schedule needs.

This option is available to students & adults who need additional time behind the wheel with an instructor, this could be at anytime while preparing for permit or preparing for provisional license.

PAYMENT OPTIONS

$100 non-refundable deposit required upon registration.

Multiple payments can be made at YOUR convenience for remaining balance. Any remaining balance must be paid on or before the first day of instruction.

Receipts/Invoices will be provided upon receipt of all payments received.

There is a $25 cancellation fee that will be charged if we are notified less than 24 hours of a scheduled appointment time.
